Your Questions, Answered!
-
Getting started is easy, and you can choose the path that works best for you.
If you'd rather talk through your project first, send me a quick message through my contact form. We'll chat about your goals, timeline, and whether we're a good fit before moving forward.
If you already have a clear idea of what you need, you can jump straight to my detailed project intake form. It gives me the information I need to put together a thoughtful proposal and helps us hit the ground running.
Either way, I'll review your inquiry, reach out if I have any follow-up questions, and guide you through the next steps. My goal is to make the process feel straightforward, collaborative, and stress-free from day one.
-
We'll start with a discovery call to discuss your brand, goals, timeline, and where the images will be used.
From there, I'll prepare a custom proposal outlining the creative approach, production plan, timeline, and investment. Once approved, I'll begin creative development, source props, build the shot list, and prepare for production!

Every project is a little different, but most include creative strategy, mood boarding, shot list development, prop sourcing, photography, professional retouching, and licensing for your intended usage. My goal is to make the process as seamless as possible so you can focus on running your business while I handle the production.

1. Let's Chat
We start with a discovery call to talk through your brand, goals, timeline, and where these images need to work hardest. I want to understand what makes your product unique, who you're trying to reach, and what success looks like for your project.2. Your Custom Proposal
I'll put together a proposal tailored to your project, outlining the creative approach, production plan, timeline, and investment. We'll review everything together, and if needed, we can revisit the scope to perfectly align with your priorities and budget. Once approved, we’ll sign a contract and I’ll begin creative production.3. Creative Production
This includes mood boards, shot lists, prop sourcing, and production planning. This is also when you’ll send me your product if relevant to the shoot. Every detail is considered ahead of time so shoot day runs smoothly and everyone feels confident walking in.4. Shoot Day
This is where all of the planning comes to life. Whether we're creating clean product imagery, recipe photography, or lifestyle scenes, my team and I focus on producing strategic, polished images that capture attention and help your brand stand out.5. Delivery
After the shoot, each selected image is professionally edited and retouched before being delivered in a private online gallery. Your final assets will be ready to use across your website, social media, advertising, email marketing, retail materials, Amazon listings, and more! -
Beautiful photography is expected.
What sets my work apart is the strategy behind every image. Before we ever pick up a camera, we think about who your customer is, where they'll encounter the image, what emotion it should evoke, and what action it's meant to inspire. The result is a collection of images that doesn't just look beautiful—it works hard for your business.
-
Absolutely! In fact, that's one of the areas where I provide the most value.
Many brands come to me with a product and a goal, but not a fully developed vision. Together we'll define what the images need to communicate, identify where they'll be used, and create a shot list designed to support your marketing objectives, not just create beautiful photos.
-
100%. I frequently collaborate with internal marketing teams, creative directors, agencies, and brand consultants. Whether you've already developed a detailed shot list or need creative support from the ground up, I can integrate into your existing workflow.
-
There's no fixed number because every shoot is different.
The final image count depends on factors like the complexity of the sets, how many scenes we're creating, the amount of styling involved, and how many variations can be captured from each setup. Rather than chasing a specific number of images, I focus on maximizing the value of every production day and creating a library of assets that serves your marketing needs.

I specialize in food and beverage brands, including CPG products, specialty foods, beverages, wineries, restaurants, cookbooks, and hospitality businesses. Whether you're launching a new product, refreshing your packaging, building an ecommerce presence, or planning a seasonal campaign, I create imagery designed to help customers stop scrolling and start craving.
-
Yes! I maintain an extensive collection of surfaces, backgrounds, linens, glassware, kitchenware, and styling props in my studio.
For larger or specialized productions, I also work with a trusted network of food stylists, prop stylists, assistants, and producers to build a team that fits the needs of your project.
-
Absolutely! Whether it’s a simple shot or a gorgeously styled editorial image, recipe photography is one of my specialties!
Whether we're showcasing your product in use, creating serving suggestions, or developing editorial-style recipes, I can produce everything from clean ecommerce imagery to fully styled lifestyle scenes.
For recipe photography in particular, I love to work with my friend and local food stylist Kendra Aronson.

Most commercial shoots are booked 2–4 weeks in advance, although timelines vary throughout the year. If you're working toward a product launch or seasonal campaign, I recommend reaching out as early as possible to ensure enough time for creative development, prop sourcing, production, and post-production.
-
Every project is custom because every brand has different goals.
Most projects begin around $2500, with investment depending on the number of shoot days, styling needs, production complexity, and deliverables. After learning more about your project, I'll provide a detailed proposal with transparent pricing.
-
Not at all.
Many of my clients never step foot in the studio. Through detailed planning, mood boards, shot lists, and regular communication, I produce successful shoots entirely remotely. If you'd like to join virtually, we can schedule live review sessions during production.
-
Before every shoot, I take time to understand your brand positioning, target audience, competitors, and marketing goals. We build a creative direction together through mood boards, shot lists, and visual references so every image feels intentional and unmistakably yours.
-
I plan every production with efficiency in mind. By grouping similar setups, capturing multiple crops and orientations, and creating variations within each scene, we can produce a versatile library of assets that works across your website, social media, advertising, email campaigns, Amazon, and print. The goal is to create content you'll be able to use for months, not just a single campaign.
